Ian Adey

After leaving the Royal Air Force, in 1991, Ian joined the Financial Services industry as a Financial Adviser for Friends Provident, he progressed to become a Senior Consultant, where he passed G10 (Taxation and Trusts).

Ian became an Independent Financial Adviser in 2002 when he joined Moffat Gilbert Financial Planning Ltd., as their Managing Director, and in 2007 he created Beaufort Wealth Management Ltd.

Ian enjoys helping his clients in all aspects of their financial planning needs, but also building long term relationships with his clients. He has since furthered his development by passing exams such as JO5 (Pensions Options), and CF2 (Investment & Risk). Ian has a vast experience in helping clients in Pension & Retirement Planning, and he has also been a regular speaker at the retirement seminars for the West Midlands Engineering Employers Federation.

When Ian is not working, he enjoys spending time with his young family, and is also a Governor at his daughter’s local Primary School. When time allows he is also keen on most sports especially Cricket, Golf & Rugby Union.
