After Graduating from University with a degree in Business, Phil joined Mazars the Chartered Accountants where he worked as a Paraplanner in their Financial Services Division.
Phil then moved to Aegon to work as a Pensions and Investment Consultant and worked his way up to become a Senior Consultant. Phil developed his pension knowledge and skills whilst at Aegon and went on to pass the G60 (Pension Specialist) qualification. After 5 happy years, Phil decided that he wanted to fulfill his ambition to become an IFA. He moved to Bank of Scotland and became a Corporate Advisor in their Business Banking Team.
Phil is qualified up to Diploma Status (Dip PFS) which will be the mandatory qualification to advise clients in 2012 and is currently working towards Chartership.
Phil really enjoys building long lasting working relationships with clients. He has experience in helping clients in Pension & Retirement Planning, Employee Benefits, Tax Mitigation and Protection. Phil has been a regular speaker at Retirement seminars for both Solihull and Rugby Council as well as the West Midlands Engineering Employers Federation.
When he is not working, Phil enjoys spending time with his young family and socialising with friends. Phil’s pastimes include Golf, Running and Mountain Biking.
