Six in ten GB adults believe British businesses behave ethically
“An annual Ipsos MORI survey conducted for the Institute of Business Ethics on the attitudes of the British public to business ethics has found: almost six in ten (57%) of the public say that British business generally behaves ‘very’ or ‘fairly’ ethically – while this is significantly down since 2018 (61%), it is nevertheless slightly higher than in 2017 (52%).
When asked which issues need to be most addressed by British businesses, the top three most mentioned issues are corporate tax avoidance (33%, no change since 2018), executive pay (29%, up five percentage points since 2018) and environmental responsibility (28%, up four percentage points since 2018).” Read more
